Katie Morrison

Hi! I’m Katie. My middle name is Jane; hence the name, Photography by Katie Jane. I am originally from Northern Virginia, but I have called Nashville home since 2005. I fell in love with film and the darkroom process in high school and continued to take photos throughout collage. After several years as a preschool teacher, I went back to school to hone my photographic skills. In the spring of 2013, I graduated from Nashville State with a Certificate in Photography and a drive to pursue my passion for a living. I have continued to work in early childhood education while at the same time growing my small business. When I am not taking photos, I love seeing all the wonderful live music Nashville has to offer, being outdoors somewhere with my husband and son, and watching a good movie.
