Katie Morrison

Originally from Northern Virginia, Katie has called Nashville home since 2005. She fell in love with film and the darkroom process in high school and continued to take photos throughout college.

After several years as a preschool teacher, she went back to school to hone her photographic skills.  In the spring of 2013, she graduated from Nashville State with a Certificate in Photography and a drive to pursue her passion for a living. Through her work, Katie aims to capture the mood of her subject and freeze that moment in time. 

She recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Sully Blue, who has obviously become her new muse. When Katie is not taking photos, she enjoys seeing all the wonderful live music Nashville has to offer, hanging out with her friends and family, and watching a good movie.
